The ultimate bird scaring kit

Unlike many other pigeon and bird scaring devices, the Hawk kite's position constantly changes in the sky depending on direction and strength of the wind. This reinforces the idea of a real bird of prey in the vicinity; pigeons will not land when a predator is flying above or near them.

How many acres will your device protect?
The system will protect between 5 and 20 acres depending on where the pole is placed in relation to where the birds are roosting. Other factors to consider when fixing the pole in the ground are the proximity of trees and hedgerows to the fields that need protecting.

Why do I need to swap over the Hawk kite and the Delta kite every 7 days?
Pigeons will get used to any type of scaring device given time. For this reason, it is essential that the pole is moved every 7 to 10 days, even if it is only 20 metres, or the Hawk kite is swapped for the Delta kite every 7 to 10 days. This will confuse the birds and they will think the new position or new kite is a new threat. If you do not follow this simple rule, you will not get the full benefit of the bird scaring system.
